At your initial appointment, you'll spend an hour talking with your doctor.
Our team of doctors understand there is no one-size-fits-all treatment. You'll leave our clinic with a holistic treatment plan uniquely tailored to you and your wellness goals.

Long-term conditions can be more complex and require multiple layers of treatment. Your naturopathic doctor will work with you to determine which combination of alternative therapies will be right for you to safely and effectively manage your condition.
Some health conditions can be difficult to diagnose and treat and can benefit from a holistic approach. Our naturopathic doctors use detailed health histories, physical exams, and functional laboratory testing to thoroughly assess your needs and open doors to new alternative healing pathways.
Naturopathic Medicine is a branch of alternative medicine that promotes self-healing by working with the body's immune system. A licensed naturopathic doctor (ND) attends a four-year, accredited, graduate-level naturopathic medical school and is educated in all the same biomedical sciences as an MD. In addition to medical and clinical sciences, naturopathic education incorporates natural and nontoxic treatments with a strong emphasis on disease prevention and optimizing wellness. Naturopathic medical education incorporates standard medical curriculum in addition to clinical nutrition, physical medicine, botanical medicine, and psychology/counseling. A naturopathic doctor takes professional board exams so that they may be licensed by a state or jurisdiction as a primary care doctor.
The titles “traditional naturopath” and “naturopathic doctor” are NOT interchangeable. A licensed naturopathic doctor (ND) is a primary care doctor who is trained to diagnose and prescribe, while a traditional naturopath is not able to do either. Some traditional naturopaths incorrectly use the title, “naturopathic doctor,” which is misleading and confusing to patients looking for a licensed ND.
Naturopathic medicine is a distinct health care profession that combines natural therapies with modern science. Naturopathic doctors (ND) are trained as primary care doctors who diagnose, treat, and manage patients with acute and chronic conditions, while addressing the cause of dysfunction. NDs use a combination of natural supplements, prescription medications, nutrition, and lifestyle counseling, and IV nutrient therapy. Rather than just treating symptoms, naturopathic doctors work to identify underlying causes of illness, and develop personalized treatment plans to address them. Medical doctors (MD/DO) are physicians, specialists, or surgeons whose education is disease specific. They focus on diagnosing single conditions and treating associated symptoms.
Naturopathic doctors treat a wide range of conditions, such as thyroid disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high blood sugar/diabetes, thyroid disease, digestive disorders, and autoimmune diseases. We also have expertise in pediatrics, women's and men's health, and chronic pain and inflammation.
NDs typically use a multi-faceted approach to treatment with personalized treatment plans for each patient’s individual needs. Natural supplements, prescription medications, nutrition, and lifestyle counseling, and IV nutrient therapy can all be utilized for a well-rounded approach to wellness. When appropriate, NDs refer to specialists and other providers, such as acupuncturists, chiropractors, physical therapists, and psychologists, for a complete and holistic treatment plan.
Naturopathic medicine emphasizes prevention to treat each patient holistically and improve health outcomes. Numerous research studies of naturopathic treatments for common conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, chronic low back pain, and anxiety have shown that naturopathic medicine is both safe and effective. Significant research shows that lifestyle-change programs that focus on nutritional intervention, exercise, and emotional well-being can reverse the progression of chronic disease safely and effectively.
